Summary
After 23 matches were contested on the opening day of play yesterday, here is what you can look forward to as we enter day 2 of the tournament.
Open Men
Each team played twice yesterday, with a further five matches being held today, seeing each side appearing at least once. India, Australia and New Zealand won both of their opening contests, whilst England, UAE, South Africa and Sri Lanka Development all won a match apiece. The Proteas and the Kiwis will clash later this afternoon.
The home side, Sri Lanka, USA and Singapore are all still chasing their first win.

Open Women
Six matches are scheduled today, after half the sides got in two matches yesterday. South Africa and Australia won their first two matches, with New Zealand also unbeaten in their only outing, and UAE taking one victory from their two contests.
Sri Lanka, England, Singapore and debutants India are yet to get on the board.
The day is highlighted by a clash between tournament favourites Australia and New Zealand on the broadcast court later this evening.

Under-22 Men
Each side got one match in yesterday, with Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the UAE all claiming wins.
Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka Development, India and England all suffered losses, but will look for their first victories with each side playing twice on an eight-game schedule today.
Heavyweights New Zealand and Australia will clash later this evening on the broadcast court.

Under-22 Women
With *India having pulled out of the tournament, the number of daily fixtures in the division has reduced.
Four matches were held yesterday, with New Zealand winning both of their fixtures, whilst Australia won their only match. UAE also got a win on the board, whilst Sri Lanka and England lost their respective contests.
Five matches are scheduled in total today, with the previous World Cup finalists New Zealand and Australia will meet later this afternoon on the broadcast court.
