2025 Australian Junior National Championships: Day 3 Results
A recap of day three of the tournament from Striker Indoor Sports Centre and Seamer Indoor Sports Centre in Perth, Western Australia.

Under-18 Boys
Queensland were again dominant on day three and look like they will be hard to stop. Yet to score under 90, the reigning champions will be favourites to play in the grand final on Saturday.
Western Australia produced two wins and have jumped up to second spot. Along side them is New South Wales, who have dropped down to third after a win and a loss today.
Victoria have moved inside the top four with an important over ACT.
Tasmania and ACT suffered two defeats today and sit at fifth and sixth respectively.
There were not a great amount of close games today, as the ladder starts to take shape.

Under-18 Girls
Two games decided by a single run headlined a big day of cricket in the Under-18 Girls division.
New South Wales are still on top after a big win over ACT. The Blues had their first loss earlier today, but went back to winning ways this afternoon.
Queensland, who defeated the ladder leaders this morning by one run, are in second place, just a point behind New South Wales.
Western Australia had a tournament-defining day, winning their two games, including a thriller against ACT, to leap into the top three places.
ACT had two losses today, but have shown signs they can match it with the best teams in the tournament.
Victoria played just one game today and were defeated, but stay within touching distance of a finals series berth.

Under-16 Boys
ACT have soared to the top of the table after two wins on day three. There were some big individual performances to defeat South Australia, from Caelin Kopievsky Blyth who scored 44 runs from his own bat, and Luc Tipping, who took a double hat-trick.
Victoria Green suffered their first loss today against Western Australia, but were able to get a win earlier in the day to keep them in second place.
Queensland Maroon had two strong wins today to put them in third place. Western Australia played just the one game today, but remain undefeated, with a game in hand. Just three points separate the top four.
South Australia keep their spot at fifth with a close win and a close loss today.
New South Wales managed their first win today over Tasmania, and stay in the hunt for a final series appearance in sixth place.
Tasmania had a difficult day, but will be confident they can perform well tomorrow. Victoria Red had their second loss of the tournament under five runs.
Queensland White played one game today, and fell short. They sit in bottom place, albeit with a game in hand.

Under-16 Girls
Queensland have rocketed to top spot after two big wins on day three. This was an impressive feat considering they were fourth at the conclusion of day two.
Victoria had a mixed day with a win and a loss, and have jumped up to second.
Western Australia, having played one less game than the rest of the competition, remain in the top three after a tight loss today.
New South Wales played just one game today and went down to Victoria in a close battle.
South Australia remain at the bottom of an extremely tight ladder, sitting just two points away from the top three. In an important victory for the Cobras, Cadence Murdoch whacked a cover-drive for four to win the game on the last ball.

Under-14 Boys
New South Wales have continued their dominance with another two wins on day three. Records for the week were smashed when their fourth skin hit 67 against ACT.
Victoria Green and Queensland Maroon have kept their spots with a win and a loss each.
Western Australia have made the jump into the top four after two important wins. Parker Harvey took a hat-trick against South Australia.
South Australia are sitting in the middle of the table after an even day, and Tasmania remain close by in sixth. Tasmania’s Darcy Triffett took a hat-trick against ACT.
Queensland White, ACT, and Victoria Red, will look ahead to day four in the hope they can turn their tournament around.

Western Australia grabbed their first win in a close match, defeating Victoria by just two runs. They sit just a game outside the top three.
