New Zealand Men's side set to play three-match series during All Star Weekend in August
The New Zealand Men's team will play a three-match intra-squad series in Napier during an All Star Weekend from 15-17 August, which will serve as part of their team's preparation for the upcoming World Cup.

The New Zealand Men’s Team will play an intra-squad series as part of an All Star Weekend in Napier in August, which will form part of their preparation for the World Cup in Sri Lanka.
Bay Indoor Sports will host the matches, which will run alongside a number of other initiatives over the weekend to raise funds for the side. The estimated cost per player to travel to the tournament is reportedly $7,000 New Zealand dollars, which is to be self-funded by the players and coaching staff.
The squad, which currently features 13 players due to injury cover, will be joined by some local players from the Under-22 Men’s side, including Charlie Pawson, Tyler Annand and Josh Young, to make up a playing group of 16 for the series. The group will then be split into two separate sides which are to be named. At the end of the weekend, a final travelling squad of 12 is expected to be named for the tournament.
The matches, which will take place on 15, 16 and 17 August, will be the only time the side comes together as a group before leaving for Sri Lanka.
The matches will be streamed online via the Hawkes Bay Indoor Cricket Club.
