Kadak Premier League: Day 1 Results and Standings
The action was fast and furious as 12 matches were held on the first evening of the tournament in Dubai, with each team playing at least two games. We summarise the results, MVPs and standings as we head into Day 2.
Summary
Day 1 of the tournament got underway last night from the U-Pro Indoor Sports Centre, with 12 matches taking place, finishing after midnight in picturesque Dubai.
The action was fast and furious, eight-over matches, one over per bowler, two overs per batting pair, and limited turnover time between matches.
Each team played at least two matches, with the Dynamos picking up two wins from their three games and leading the standings for now, whilst the Lions are the only undefeated side so far, winning both games.
Every other team picked up at least win yesterday evening, aside from the Avengers.
Aside from the Dynamos and Challengers, each other side has a game in hand. In this format, the standings can change quickly, and a full slate of matches later today as we enter Day 2, which will also see the Women’s Division commence.
