Grand Finalists confirmed at Australian National Championships
ACT and Queensland will square off in a repeat of last year's Men's final, whilst the Queensland Women will be aiming for a seventh consecutive title.

The Big Picture
A whirlwind day concluded with the grand finalists being confirmed at the 2025 Australian National Championships.
After the conclusion of each of the preliminary finals, the four grand final match ups will have a familiar look to them as square off at Striker Indoor Sports Centre tomorrow, with seven of the eight sides of last year featuring in each final.
Here are how proceedings took place on day seven of the Championships:
Open Men
ACT and Queensland will contest their fourth straight Open Men’s final are coming through their finals’ series matches today.
The Rockets will hold the advantage after their 37-run win in the major semi-final over the Thunder extended their unbeaten run this tournament, which was also their third successive win over Queensland this week.
Victoria exited in the minor semi-final against Western Australia, with their third one-run loss this week, whilst the home side went down to Queensland by 22 runs in the preliminary final.

Fifth vs Sixth place play-off: New South Wales 127 (2) def. South Australia 116 (2)

Grand Final - 5 July:
ACT Rockets vs Queensland Thunder
Open Women
The Queensland Lightning will be looking for their seventh title in a row when they take on the South Australia Cobras in the grand final.
The Cobras were too strong again for Victoria in the preliminary final, their third straight win against the opposition, winning by 39 runs. They will be up against a strong Queensland side who have won both fixtures between the sides so far and are focused on continuing their incredible title run.
Tasmania claimed their first win of the championships, defeating Western Australia by 30 runs to take fifth place.

Preliminary Final: South Australia 121 (3) def. Victoria 82 (1)
Grand Final - 5 July:
Queensland Lightning vs South Australia Cobras
Under-22 Men
Queensland and New South Wales will contest the Under-22 Men’s final again, after the latter’s thrilling one-run win against Western Australia in the preliminary final. Two runs off the final ball in the chase was enough for New South Wales to edge out the hosts by 82-81.
Queensland have an advantage going into the final, having won both contests between the sides so far this week.

Preliminary Final: New South Wales 82 (2) def. Western Australia 81 (2)
Grand Final - 5 July:
Queensland vs New South Wales
Under-22 Women
Queensland and New South Wales will also clash in the final of the Under-22 Women’s division. The Queensland side won through by 23 runs in the major semi-final, whilst New South Wales overcame Victoria in the preliminary final.
The match will be a repeat of last year’s final. Queensland will hold an advantage going into the contest, having won all three matches between the sides this week.
