2025 Australian Junior National Championships: Day 5 Results
Finalists have been locked in at the Australian Junior National Championships. Here's your recap of the final day of round matches.

The round-robin stage of the tournament has been complete, as teams now look ahead to the finals, where just one will be crowned champion.
New South Wales have finished first in three divisions, while Queensland lead two divisions, and the hosts, Western Australia, grabbed one division.
My highlight of the week was the final pair for Western Australia’s Under-14 Boys. Harrison Smith (45 runs) and Zack Phillips (59 runs) smashed the highest skin of the tournament, hitting 104 in their four overs. With 6 SEVENS, 5 fives, 5 fours, I suspect this to be some sort of record. More research to come.
Under-18 Boys
Queensland have stamped their authority, finishing the round-robin stage undefeated. We’ll see them in the Major Semi Final tomorrow.
Their opponents, New South Wales, who were able to get an important win over Western Australia earlier today to secure the double chance.
The hosts will be disappointed with their final day, losing two matches. However, enough work had been done earlier in the week, to secure third position.
The Victorians are entering the finals series with some momentum, having won their final two games today to take the remaining finals spot, including an important win against Tasmania.
Tasmania impressively knocked off Western Australia in their final game of the tournament, but unfortunately it was too little, too late. Finishing just outside the top four, they’ll be playing off in the fifth-place play off.
ACT will look to get their first win of the tournament tomorrow, in their most important game of the week, trying to snatch fifth away from the Tasmanians.
